Customized Training Development

When new skills are required to increase team or individual performance, or when education is needed to change culture, we do our homework and learn about the organization and the audience. Sometimes this research can be as straightforward as one or two client meetings, or a thorough process involving interviews, surveys, and focus groups. Then Respect Inc., develops a customized plan for improvement.

Our training is goal-focused and always in a business context. Learners know why new skills are necessary. Activities are experiential because adults learn by doing. The training design is discussed with the client as it is developed, and often a pilot program is tested. It is common that we deliver the training using “in-the moment” facilitation techniques based on research from NTL (formerly National Training Laboratories) of Washington, D.C. However, some projects have included the training of in-house facilitators so the client can independently deliver the education.
